“Failon Ngayon” and its anchor Ted Failon were recognized by the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) in the United Kingdom after being nominated at the prestigious 2013 AIB Awards.
“Failon Ngayon” was short-listed in the Domestic Current Affairs Documentary category for its “Island of Boracay 2” episode that featured the demolition of illegal resorts on Boracay island, following an episode that exposed the said irregularities.
