After almost a year, singer-actress Angeline Quinto is set to return to Asia’s longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on Saturday (July 13).
In the upcoming heavy drama “MMK” episode, Angeline plays Ellah, a loving daughter who is willing to do everything for her family, especially when their father abandoned them for another woman. To make ends meet, Ellah has to work as a clown while studying, which tests her patience not only with kids but also with life’s struggles.
Groove along to the tunes of the teens of “LUV U” who are set to show what they’ve got, as they dance and sing in this week’s episode airing on Sunday (July 14).
It’s club registration day at school and the teens have to choose where they want to go. With Benj (Nash Aguas) and the Break3rs wanting to demonstrate their skills, they sign up for the dance club, while Lexie (Alexa Ilacad) and the girls have their voices to show off in signing up for the glee club.

Kapamilya teen star Julia Barretto is grateful to ABS-CBN for getting her career off to a good start with the top-rating “Wansapanataym” special, which she topbills alongside child wonders Zaijian Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat.
“I’m very thankful to ABS-CBN for giving me this opportunity to be a part of another ‘Wansapanataym’ special. Aside from being my training ground in acting, it also gives us the chance to teach and impart kiddie TV viewers with good values,” said Julia, who admittedly enjoys working with Zaijian and Xyriel. “I enjoy spending time with them on the set because they are like my younger siblings. They are fun to be with, kind and very professional.”

In his second “MMK” stint, Paulo will portray, for the first time, a born mute character named Apaw, who was maltreated by his relatives. “This one is entirely different from my first ‘MMK,’ which was with KC Concepcion. It’s not a love story, but a touching tale of extraordinary courage and true friendship between my character Apaw and his bestfriend Dante,” explained Paulo, who will be joined in the episode by his “Walang Hanggan” co-actor Joem Bascon, who will play the role of Dante.
“Apoy Sa Dagat” stars Angelica Panganiban and Piolo Pascual admit that they have learned a lot from the story of their top-rating primetime teleserye which will air its last episode this Friday (July 5).
According to Angelica and Piolo, they are happy with how the viewers loved their story and their characters Rebecca and Serena (Angelica) and Ruben (Piolo). ABS-CBN’s top-rating family drama Annaliza recently conducted a thanksgiving outreach program in Brgy. NBBS, Navotas City where the kid cast members of the show, led by rising teleserye princess Andrea Brillantes, gave out school materials such as textbooks to children in the barangay.
Together with other child stars Kyline Alcantara, Jillian Aguila, John Vincent Servilla, Dale Baldillo, and Rein Tolentino, Andrea also shared a simple merienda with the kids and entertained the crowd with song and dance numbers.
Broadcast journalists Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor will check on people featured in “Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo” who went through severe trauma after getting hit by a vehicle, drowning, and being kidnapped in a look-back episode tomorrow (July 3).
Maan and Dominic will revisit Bakar River in Norzagaray, Bulacan, where numerous people were recorded to have drowned and died. In May, “Saklolo” featured a girl who accidentally drowned in the river but was rescued in time. Now, what measures are barangay officials taking to ensure safety to those who want to swim in the river?

The winners of the first ever tandem of representatives to pioneer a stronger bond of unity between two cultures were finally declared last June 30, 2013 during the grand coronation night of the first ever Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
The title of Mr. Chinatown Philippines 2013 and the Ambassador of Good Will went to this year’s self-confessed “lola’s boy” Randy See, while the title of Miss Chinatown Philippines and the Ambassadress of Good Will went to Philippine School of Interior Design student Rolini Lim Pineda.
