Karen Davila examines mother-daughter dispute over inheritance in ‘Engkwentro’
Broadcast journalist Karen Davila looks into the dispute of a mother and her daughter over a piece of land and a house in “Pinoy True Stories: Engkwentro” tomorrow (June 25) on ABS-CBN.
Forty-two-year old Mel has been nagging her mother, 71-year-old Aling Lilila, to put her piece of land and house up for sale so she can obtain her part of the money. Aling Lilia refuses to budge because, aside from the fact that she is still alive, she strongly thinks the unemployed Mel will use the proceeds for gambling.

Julis Babao hunts rape suspect in ‘Pinoy True Stories: Bistado’
Twenty-five-year old “Liza” shares to broadcast journalist Julius Babao the nightmare that happened to her seven years ago, when an entrusted friend drugged her, brought her into a motel, and sexually abused her this Monday (June 3) in “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado.”
After many years of feeling helpless and isolating herself due to depression, Liza finds some spark of hope as Julius, together with authorities, hunts down suspect Samuel Mamerto.
Christopher de Leon lookalike wins It’s Showtime’s Ultimate Kalokalike contest
For his striking resemblance to actor Christopher de Leon, impersonator Jonathan Garcia was named as the Ultimate Kalokalike Saturday (June 1) in ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime’s” look-alike contest grand finals.
Aside from bearing a close physical resemblance to the veteran actor for which he also won the special Picture Frame Award, Jonathan ultimately clinched the title after showing off his acting chops in the competition’s talent portion.
‘LUV U’ girls to study in Singapore?
The gang of the teen series “LUV U” will experience tension in this Sunday’s episode. Camille (Miles Ocampo), April (Angeli Gonzalez) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) receive orders from their parents to fly to Singapore (for college studies) a week earlier than expected, sending the girls into panic mode.
