‘Oblivion’ stars Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. The movie is a sci-fi action that gives us a look of what the Earth could be like after a war with the aliens. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski. He also wrote the script with Karl Gajdusek.

Dingdong Dantes shares exclusive photos in StarStudio
For his first StarStudio solo cover, back-to-back Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor awardee Dingdong Dantes shares the journey of his life, told through exclusive photographs — including some of him and girlfriend Marian Rivera — taken during their trips together to Barcelona, Spain, Angkor Wat and Amanpulo, Palawan.
It is also the first time for Dingdong to show the latest addition to his collection of vehicles: a Chevrolet Corvette and the Ducati Diavel, which was a gift from Marian.

“Be Careful With My Heart” cast, to be led by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap, is going on a world tour to thank the global Filipinos for their phenomenal support to ABS-CBN’s no. 1 daytime kilig-serye. Maya (Jodi), Sir Chief (Richard) and their families are set to visit Asia, Middle East, USA and Europe this 2013 starting this March.
The cast will fly to the Middle East in March; USA and Canada in May; Europe in August; and Japan in November.

Maja Salvador pours her heart out in Chalk magazine
After four years, prized Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador returns on the cover of Chalk Magazine this month where she opens up about her career and family life.
Talking to Chalk’s Toff de Venecia, Maja expressed her gratitude for how well the management has treated her over the years, never ceasing to give her the projects that turned her into one of today’s fine young actresses. She recently won her first acting award, Gawad Urian Best Actress, for her portrayal in the independent film “Thelma” and is currently a part of the top-rating teleserye “Ina Kapatid Anak”.
Aiza Seguerra’s ‘Ano’ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa’ wins Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs
The song “Ano’ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa” written by Jovinor Tan of Malabon City and interpreted by Aiza Seguerra won first place in the country’s largest multimedia songwriting competition, “Himig Handog” with the theme, “Pinoy Pop (P-POP) Love Songs: Mga Awit at Kwento ng Pusong Pilipino” from ABS-CBN and Star Records.
The concert held last night at the SM MOA Arena featured the performances of the country’s finest OPM artists who served as interpreters for the 12 finalists. The original compositions that received the top awards were the following: “Hanggang Wakas” performed by Juris Fernandez and written by Soc Villanueva placed second; “If You Ever Change Your Mind” performed and written by Marion Aunor placed third; “Scared to Death” sung by KZ Tandingan and written by Domingo Rosco Jr. placed fourth; and “Kahit Na” performed by Toni Gonzaga and written by Julius James de Belen placed fifth.

‘MMK’ Valentine’s episode rules weekend ratings; Jane Oineza scores nomination in New York Fest
The Valentine’s episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” last Saturday (February 16) ruled the weekend ratings race as it garnered a whopping 37% national TV ratings, based on the data from Kantar Media. The episode which was topbilled by Ketchup Eusebio and Meg Imperial was 21.1 points higher than the 15.9% earned by its rival program in GMA “Magpakailanman.”
Aside from its ratings success, “MMK” also shone brighter when the prestigious 2013 New York Festivals (NYF) World’s Best Television and Film named Kapamilya teen actress Jane Oineza as one of the nominees in its Best Performance By An Actress category. Jane was the lead actress in the controversial “Manika” episode last year that shared the tale of a young girl named Nene who was raped by her stepdad in front of her mother.

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is set to lead the group of ABS-CBN stars who will travel to Baguio City this weekend for the much awaited Panagbenga Floral Float Parade on Sunday (February 24) at 7AM.
